Liquid manure as valuable fertilizer
Since the establishment of agriculture, people have understood the importance of biological forms of fertilizer. Liquid manure has always been among the most valuable of natural fertilizers. It also figures in the origins of the BAUER Group. It was Rudolf Bauer who in 1930 made efficient wide-area fertilization possible with construction of the first high-pressure manure pump. This was followed by over 80 years of experience in liquid manure management. Correct handling, preparation and distribution of liquid manure became a core competence of BAUER. This yielded a developmental edge that BAUER still maintains today, making it a specialist in liquid manure management and a leading problem-solver for cattle, hog and chicken manure and other agricultural wastewater.
